Faith

Faith is the cornerstone of our church. It is part of every activity that we do, every meeting that we hold. We believe in our Lord, and that our actions are a reflection of his goodness.

Scripture

We look to the Lord for guidance in our lives. In Scripture, we find all that we need to guide us in the right path. Reading and understand Scripture helps us all live meaningful lives.

Community

Join us. We welcome each and every one of you to encounter the Lord's unconditional love with us. Inside each of us is a purpose and meaning to be fulfilled by God.

Youth Ministry

Youth is a unique period of life, one filled with exploration, discovery, excitement and fulfillment. The Church Youth Ministry provides a nurturing, loving environment for young people exploring the world. It is a safe place where faith guides exploration and self-discovery.

Music Ministry

Psalm 96:1-3 reads, “Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvellous deeds among all peoples.” The Music Ministry at St. Faith plays a vital role in leading sung worship during our services. St. Faith has a versatile style of sung worship, enjoyed by both young and old.
  • Traditional Sung Mass

Ashley Plezens, our organist, leads the 7:30 service in singing traditional hymns, choruses and in singing the liturgy of the Holy Eucharist. Ashley is also a violinist and would often play a solo. Ashley is assisted by Marlene Meintjies on the Organ or Piano and Alan Ward on the Saxophone from time to time.

  • Church Band

The band lead by Mervyn Dickenson leads the 9:30 service in Sung worship by singing contemporary gospel music and giving traditional hymns a modern twist. The band consists of a keyboardist, two guitarists, two bass guitarists, two drummers, a saxophonist, percussionist and a group of singers.

For large services, such as Christmas, Easter and Confirmation, the Band and Organist join together to lead the faithful in sung worship.
